Synaesthesia colours my world and powers the art I create”

My mind doesn't hold images. It works through colour, pressure and weight.
That is where each painting begins.

I work from sensation. My synaesthesia gives language its own palette; aphantasia removes the picture and leaves the signal.
Tone, temperature and colour-weight arrive with a memory, a sound or a spoken word.

They’re not limitations. They’re the foundation of my practice.

I paint on wood because the surface can move with me.
Layers go on, come off, tilt, settle.
What remains is the trace of those decisions,  and the moment the work finds its balance.
