A selection of original paintings from my practice.

The collection includes small-format works intended for lived spaces as well as selected larger paintings released directly from the studio. I work with layered surfaces, restrained colour and geometric structure to explore tension, atmosphere and containment through relatively quiet abstract compositions. These works are designed to sit naturally within home, study and work environments, revealing more through time and repeated viewing rather than immediate impact.

Moderated Field

A small-scale abstract work exploring balance, restraint and controlled disruption. Soft warm tones sit against cooler structural elements, held together by a central governing line that quietly stabilises the composition without fully resolving it.

Despite its size, the piece carries a strong sense of presence and contained energy. Designed for intimate spaces, shelves, desks or smaller walls where subtle tension rewards repeated viewing.

False Warmth

An abstract work exploring the uneasy relationship between warmth and structure. Soft blush and magenta elements appear briefly within a predominantly cool grey field, never fully settling into the composition or overcoming its underlying restraint.

Layered surfaces, interrupted lines and shifting geometric forms create a sense of ambiguity that changes with time and viewing distance. Quiet at first encounter, the painting gradually reveals a more unsettled emotional register beneath its controlled surface
