Julio Le Parc at Tate Modern
I loved everything about Julio Le Parc at Tate Modern. Light, geometry, distortion, scale: pure visual magic and high-contrast energy from start to finish.
What struck me most was how physical the work feels. Nothing politely waits on a wall to be looked at. Light shifts, reflections move, geometry changes as you move, and suddenly you’re part of the work rather than standing outside it.
It’s a masterclass in how physical surface, optical tension and raw energy can completely command a room, pulling you from observer to participant, with zero room for quiet contemplation.
Easily one of the best shows I’ve seen at Tate Modern. If you get a chance, go. You have time: it runs until 27 May.
